Wide range of materials with which we can make everything
Not only is there a choice of rubber types such as solid rubber, cellular rubber and foams, but within these categories the materials also have their own properties.
Our cellular rubber
Material
Attributes
EPDM
Cellular rubber
Suitable for technical applications, weather resistant. Available in the colours black, white or grey.
Chloroprene (CR/Neopreen®)
Suitable for technical applications, weather resistant, flame extinguishing.
EVA foam
Odourless and flavourless. Available in various colours. Frequently used for children’s toys, bath slippers, packaging and the medical industry.
PE
Polyethylene foam
Suitable for glazing, cushioning in packaging and sealing tape. Available in various colours.
PU
(Cellasto®/Vulkocell®)
Microcellular polyurethane rubber - Wear-resistant material used for buffers and ejectors for die cutting blades. Suitable for prolonged, frequent and tight compression. High compressibility and damping. Will keep its shape during prolonged impacts and use.
Silicone foam
Suitable for temperatures from -40℃ to 200℃. Odourless and flavourless, available in white and black.
Our technical foam
Material
Attributes
Polyester foam
Excellent compressibility, low weight. Suitable as sealing tape for inside doors or air treatment equipment. Also available with dust-proof and vapour-proof top layer.
PVC foam
Slow recovery grade – can be compressed to a very large extent and slowly springs back due to the very fine cell structure. Waterproof when compressed more than 30%. Very few signs of aging.
Filter foam
Very open structure, all walls between the cells have been removed by subsequent treatment. Used as an air filter in air treatment equipment. Available in 10 and 20 PPI (Pores Per Inch), as well as other porosities. Colour: black.
Sponge rubber based on natural rubber
Very resilient, wear-resistant, highly resistant to varying forces, water-resistant. Used in the shape of balls for the internal cleaning of pipes, for paper transport rolls, and many other applications. Available in cell sizes fine, medium or coarse. Colour: orange.
Our solid rubber
Material
Attributes
Wide-rib mat
Floor rubber with wide ridges for heavy-duty use. Comes in a thickness of 6 mm. Available in various colours.
Stud rubber mat
Widely used floor rubber for hospitals and kitchens etc. Stud height, diameter and colour available in several varieties. Also available in tile form.
Ebopol
Floor rubber made of bonded rubber granulate, water permeable, fairly soft, used for applications such as exhibition flooring and as a tile carrier. Available from 4 mm thickness up to 45 mm thick (as playground tiles that cushion falls).
Checker mat
Floor rubber with well-known non-slip pattern. Available in various colours. If desired also available in anti-static, oil-resistant or flame extinguishing version.
Fine-rib mat
Floor rubber with fine, longitudinal ridges. Available in a thickness of 3 mm. Colour: black or grey. The roll width is 1000 or 1200 mm, roll length 10 meters.
Fluoropolymer rubber
Resistant to acids, alkalis, petrol, chemicals, oil, solvent and ozone.
VMQ
Silicone rubber
Resistant to weak acids and alkalis. Flavourless and odourless. Good resistance to aging. Available in a colourless translucent variant and in white.
PU/Vulkollan®
Polyurethane rubber
Very resistant to abrasion and impacts. Resistant to petrol, oil and ozone.
CR/Neopreen®
Chloroprene rubber
Resistant to ozone, frost, all non-oxidizing acids. Fairly resistant to oil and grease.
NBR
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene rubber
Resistant to oil, gasoline, gases and non-oxidizing acids.
PARA
Natural rubber
Soft and very elastic. Resistant to all non-oxidizing acids.
EPDM
Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer
Cold and weather resistant. Especially suitable for outdoor applications.
SBR
Styrene-Butadiene rubber
For airtight and watertight gaskets. Not resistant to concentrated chemicals.
